People seek therapy for many different reasons. Major life events, such as divorce, loss of a job, or death of a loved one may become the focus in therapy for some while for others therapy may be a place to heal old wounds or traumas. Some may choose therapy to work on stress management, relationship issues, or personal exploration and growth. Others may turn to therapy because they are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or burnt out. No matter the reason, the common denominator for people pursuing therapy is change. People want something to be different in their lives.

I work with children, teens, and adults to help create lasting changes. I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, acute and chronic illness, loss, major life transitions, and trauma. I also specialize in helping couples and families dealing with communication, infidelity, separation, divorce, and blended family issues.

If you are finding it difficult to make lasting changes on your own, then therapy may be a wise decision. No one was ever meant to face life’s challenges on their own. Please do not hesitate to contact me to learn how therapy may benefit you or a family member.  ~ Eve Hornstein, LMFT
